Dossier, check!

Earlier this week we received our last document for the dossier. I went straight to the Secretary of State building to authenticate a couple of documents, then mailed it off to Holt. I received word yesterday that it looks good and has been sent on to the US and Ethiopian embassies in Washington, D.C. to be authenticated. Then it will be sent on to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
There was an excitement in the air, and it was so sweet to get to share that with my boys and my girl. Isaac kept asking, "Are we getting our baby here, Mom?" like kids are something we can just pick up at the store. He's so precious. Samuel was my rockstar helper with running the photocopy maching and organizing the stacks of paper. Elijah layed on the floor and Matea was my screamer. A snapshot of all their personalities, right there in FedEx.
I had to take a picture of the stack of papers. Including the full copied set, the dossier was about 90 pages. 90 pages! This is the fruit of many people's labors over the past 3 months, not just ours. People who have prayed for us, given us words of encouragement, watched our kids so that I could run around doing paperwork. It seemed so huge and overwhelming at the beginning and somehow it all got done.

And here's a fun picture of our little gladiator princess. She was so pleased with herself for this one. :)
