chocolate cherry delight

We read Mrs. Twiggenbotham Goes to a Party often; sometimes daily. It's a story about making a special dessert for someone in need, because "God's greater joy is in giving." Elijah has been asking to make Mrs. Twiggenbotham's Chocolate Cherry Delight, which is conveniently printed in the back of the book, for weeks. It took me several tries, but I finally accumulated all the necessary ingredients for him, and today was the day. I supervised, but he did everything from measuring, to mixing, to cracking the eggs all by himself! Go Lije! We were all thankful for the yummy dessert tonight!
