Matea had her first co-ed bath.
And the best part? We got Adam back from a treacherous climb of Mt. Adams, in Washington. He had a great weekend conquering the mountain with "the guys" from Portland. I love that Adam values and pursues relationships so well. I see that not only in our marriage, where he is so intentional in loving and caring for me, but also in the relationships he seeks out with others. He has been blessed with wonderful friendships, here and back home. Last night we looked through the pictures and he told me all about the climb. The excitement in his voice and on his face was so evident. He's already pumped up for the next great climb, and wants to take the boys up Mt. Bonnell here in Austin. As he explained it to me, "men [and boys too, I guess?] need something to conquer." The highlight of his weekend was getting to spend lots of time with his (and our) best friend(s). Adam often tells me that if God ever calls us to move, he would happily go to Seattle to live in community with the Wilsons. :) Pictures to come.
