Adam was so pumped about this trip. Is so pumped about this trip. He, along with 5 other guys, set up camp at the base of Mt. Adams and spent 15 hours hiking up and back down. He's been searching out hiking documentaries and scheming about the next trip for the past week.
As a response to this newfound thrill, he took our family "hiking" up Mt. Bonnell here in Austin yesterday. This "mountain" is the highest point in Austin, but to anyone who has lived around real mountains before, it is really just a hill. We parked the car and walked up about 100 stairsteps to the top. And saw beautiful views of downtown Austin and the lake. It was just funny how one man's mountain is another man's molehill.
