This is a dream that's been in the making for...(how long has Samuel been around now?)...a few years now, fueled by the too-brief 6th grade boys season he coached with John back when Missi and I were pregnant with Samantha and Elijah. Good memories.
Samuel is (finally) ready and willing to play basketball, and Adam is on cloud nine. He even got the turf dug up and the cement poured this week for his in-ground basketball hoop, which has been on his to-do list for months. Coincidence? Another cool thing about our team is that even though it's on the smaller side (6 kids), they all are either friends from our neighborhood or friends from our flag football team.
