Today when we were playing outside, Isaac climbed up onto Adam's riding lawn mower. Except out here folks call them "lawn tractors," or just "tractors" for short...kind of like how anything that's larger than a sedan is called a "truck." This would include SUVs, which is an unused term around here. I don't get it, but anyway...Isaac loves when Adam mows the lawn. It means that he gets to sit on his lap and drive the tractor.

This next picture is likely not as exciting to you, the reader, as it is to my son. We've been on a Star Wars kick around our house. Adam and I finally decided to rent episodes I, II and III to preview for Samuel. He's seen the old ones and has begged us to let him see the new ones. So we have dutifully sat in front of the TV for a few nights in a row and enjoyed the saga of Anakin Slywalker. In the meantime we've all had a lot of discussions about "the force" and "the dark side" and what it all boils down to. Star Wars has been a defining part of our life lately. And Samuel's been pretty happy to be the beneficiary of my lame Star Wars art.
