So, the past couple of weeks has been busy, but it's been so good to soak up the people and places surrounding us. Many visitors have been in and out. My mom finally got here. Aunt Sheryl and Uncle Jason are here with their 3 kids, Jakob (9), Clara (6) and Kayleigh (3).
On Friday night my Aunt Mira's dad, someone who we had come to greatly respect and admire, Cecil Hook, passed away. His life was long, his influence was vast and his heart was full. His legacy lives on through his family and his ministry, one of bringing the people the church out of the bondage of legalism and into the fullness of the grace we have through Jesus.
We all spent the day on the boat at Lake Travis yesterday. Everyone had so much fun swimming, intertubing, water skiing and wakeboarding.
This week we'll go to VBS and we'll celebrate Isaac's first birthday. And in between I'm sure we'll squeeze in some swimming. My kids are becoming little fish. I can't get my USB cable to work, so pictures will have to be postponed.
