The kids participated in Lemonade Stand Day yesterday. They made their own lemonade and peanut butter cookies for the event and sat at our neighborhood park for a couple of hours. They did a great job and learned some valuable lessons in entrepreneurship.
In the process, they also got to talk to lots of people about adoption. Samuel had brought A's picture with him, and whipped it out to show several people his brother in Ethiopia. They had decided that their profits would go toward Samuel's plane ticket help us bring A home.
All in all, a great day for sitting outside, talking to people and selling lemonade.
This week is our court date in Ethiopia! Pray that God's will is done and we get to A exactly when He desires. We hope that is sooner than later! If we pass court this week, we will have approval to travel to bring him home sometime in the near future!!!
